News:

  • Development company: "We are expecting this year with apprehension. Everything that was planned is being done, but our plans are very conservative. We have also set a task to keep the team and to increase production volumes. The staff are showing excellent results in difficult conditions".
  • A company producing materials for creativity, play and self-expression: "This year we opened our own online school, Russia's first platform for creative development. It aims to educate an audience of all ages, from the very young and aspiring artists to professionals and the educational sector.
  • Russian domestic tourism turnover fell by 40% in 2020, with resort cities and natural areas losing only 10-15% of their 2019 revenue levels. In 2021, all domestic tourism growth is expected to be 10-15% over last year.
  • In Belgium, since 9 June, restaurants have been allowed to serve customers indoors. Prior to that (for about a month), catering establishments were only allowed to operate outdoors. Offices have partly been allowed to resume "face-to-face" work - for now, employees can go into the office once a week.
  • Massive state cash injections and benefits in Australia during the isolation boosted consumer and business confidence, strengthened the financial position of households and firms, and now consumers are spending their accumulated savings - the country's economic activity has recovered and is higher than before the pandemic.
