STEP CONSULTING took part in the XVII National Congress of Professional Corporate Directors

On December 11, 2018 Svetlana Emelianova, STEP CONSULTING Managing Partner, took part in the XVII National Congress of Professional Corporate Directors.

The congress gathered corporate managers, both from private companies and companies with state participation. The congress was organized by the Russian Institute of Directors, one of corporate director communities.

Leadership in corporate governance was the leitmotif of the meeting. Business, education and government representatives expressed their views on this issue.

“As a professional psychologist, I am happy that in the age of psychology corporate governance turned to psychological topics. However, a conversation about the types and adequacy of leadership in different stages of business development was in fact the basis for the presentation of participants' own cases. The lack of basic psychological knowledge was felt in the audience. But the real experience of corporate governance, which was shared by the participants in the discussion, was very interesting ”- Svetlana Emelianova commented the meeting.
