The Business-Rakes Club held its 40th meeting

On November 10th the 40th meeting of the Business-Rakes Club was organized. It was yet again held in an online format, since we had invited a speaker who was outside of Moscow. The speaker this time was Dmitry Stenko, founder of the Ccover project, who met with an audience of entrepreneurs. 

Ccover is the manufacturer of cosmetic covers for prosthetic lower limbs.

In 2018, a client asked Techno3D, a 3D-printing studio, to produce a cosmetic cover for a prosthesis.

The company is located in Yaroslavl. Their main activity is printing, modeling and scanning of 3D-objects. The most frequent requests are for the printing of decorative elements, electronics cases and spare parts for equipment.

A request to produce a cosmetic cover was a challenge for the team. At that time, only a handful of foreign companies made similar products. There was no such thing available in Russia.

So the first contour-cover appeared - a collapsible attachment that is fixed to the prosthesis and visually emphasizes it as a modern gadget or a fashion accessory.

During the first 3 years, 1.6 million rubles of grant funds were raised for the project development, and 2.5 million rubles of the company's own funds were invested as well.
