The news for the week:
- Marketing Director of a federal chain (non-food products): "We have resumed master classes and seminars for customers (so far in Moscow). This helps to increase customer loyalty - first, they get interesting information, and second, they buy what suits them, and as a result, they are more satisfied".
- General manager of a distribution company: "This year we have already launched a new wholesale internet portal, where customers can order a wide range of our products as well as those from other suppliers.
- Real estate agency: "Prices for new-build houses in Moscow have risen by around 17% in 2020, and in the Moscow region by almost 30%. Despite the fact that housing is almost twice cheaper in Moscow suburbs, the demand for new-build houses is higher in the capital".
- According to the forecast of the European Commission, the economic recovery in the European Union will go a little faster (3.7% this year and 3.9% next year), than previously assumed - a more serious growth is expected in the second half of 2021 (due to the vaccination and the easing of quarantine restrictions).
- In Lithuania, car sales have fallen sharply - in 2020, there were 45% fewer cars sold than in 2019.
