The Board of Directors 2020, what it’ll be like?

The President of the STEP Consulting, Evgeny Emelianov, took part in the conference "Board of Directors 2020: Who will determine the future of business?" on April 25, 2018. The conference was organized by the Association of Independent Directors.

The conference participants discussed global trends in the structure and membership of the Boards of Directors. They compared international and Russian trends, and tried to separate the "fashion" tools from the necessary ones.

Evgeny Emelianov: "Experts noted that now the most important thing for the Independent Directors is not the increasing of professional competencies, but the global vision. For now, in terms of uncertainty and digitalization, this is the main necessity of the Company's Supervisory Boards."

This meeting was attended by more than 100 members of the Boards of Directors, top managers and experts on the corporate governance.
